Desde Proyecto OEC nos parece importante insistir en la importancia que tiene que los ciudadanos puedan recibir una información verificable, contrastada y lo más completa posible sobre los productos que consumen, ya sea por parte de los medios, las organizaciones de consumidores, las administraciones públicas, otros grupos de interés o
las propias empresas.
Especialmente cuando se trata del consumo de productos alimenticios, es importante construir las bases de un diálogo más fluido entre marcas y consumidores. Así lo recomendaba también esta misma semana la FAO, que instaba a Gobiernos y empresas a “ayudar a los consumidores a tomar buenas decisiones alimentarias para una mejor nutrición a través de la educación y la información”.
